LIVABLE HOUSING AUSTRALIA

Livable Housing Australia is an organisation which champions the mainstream adoption of livable housing design principles in new homes. They have created guidelines covering 15 elements which new homes can incorporate to enable the house to be used by a wider variety of users for a longer period of time. There are three levels of certification - Silver, Gold and Platinum. More information is available through LHA here. We are registered LHA Design Guideline Assessors (Registration #20069) and can certify your projects under the scheme.

LHA / CONSULTING

The Study can assist in the early stages of your design to help you meet the requirements for your preferred level ofcompliance. This may involve a preliminary assessment of your plans at an early stage to provide some preliminary feedback and areas of concern.

LHA / DESIGN ASSESSMENTS / PROVISIONAL

When your plans are complete and ready for permits and construction, the design can be certified under the LHA scheme as compliant with the provisions of the scheme. This includes a licence to use the quality mark in yourmarketing materials

LHA / AS-BUILT ASSESSMENTS / FINAL

Once your home is built,  an as-built certification can be provided. The quality mark associated with an as-built assessment is considered the 'final' assessment and again comes with a licence to use the quality mark in your marketing materials.
